FIRST 100 HOURS VIGILS
MILWAUKEE - MADISON - JANESVILLE - GREEN BAY - WHITEFISH BAY
For reports and photos from these events, visit the WIP&L Facebook page
During the first 100 hours of the new US administration, it was vital that as people of faith we show our love for the Earth, and our commitment to people, planet, and communities.
Around the country, we organized vigils -- with diverse faith communities and people of good will -- to share our care and commitment publicly.
Religious leaders from the interfaith community were present to implore the new Administration: "Keep Good Faith On Our Climate Commitments."
Green Faith and Interfaith Power & Light, as part of the People's Climate Movement, along with the United Church of Christ Council for Climate Justice and other earth care groups organized these vigils in Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, and Janesville, Wisconsin, and in other states across the country.
